Garbo Swag

Hailing from Chicago, Garbo Swag was started in the mid-90s as a rock cover band going by the name Stone Diam.  The band gradually switched focus to writing original material and released their first album in 1996.  A year later the name was changed its name to Garbo Swag, and an EP followed by two additional albums were released before the band went on extended hiatus in 2002.

Pinning down the sound of the band can be a challenge, as a broad range of influences is blended together, forming a unique result.  Comparisons have been made to Weezer, STP, and Jimmy Eat World, but anything and everything on rock radio from the past 50 years has contributed to the sound of the band.
